For global pharma and CROs, India has become the obvious place to scale medical-writing capacity. The economics are settled. What separates partners now is not price but governance, whether the work is defensible when it reaches a journal editor or an inspector.
Ask about the quality system, by name
A credible partner can name its QC architecture and walk you through it, scientific, editorial, compliance and technical layers, sequenced, with version control and audit trails. "We review carefully" is not a system.
Probe compliance depth
Reporting standards (CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE) and codes (COPE, ICMJE, GPP) should be embedded from the first draft, not bolted on at submission. Ask how, specifically.
Look for technology that governs delivery
Tools that enforce journal-fit, milestone QC and submission-readiness make quality repeatable across a large team, the difference between a few strong writers and a reliable engine.
How Ichelon helps
Our Publication Readiness System™ provides the 4-layer QC, and Pharos Scribe governs the writing workflow, so quality is engineered and consistent, not dependent on who happened to draft the paper.
